Vanguard Music Platforms Inc. runs this Event and operates the Vanguard Platform.
We use Event-related information to register participants, receive submissions, administer judging, communicate about the Event, publish results, maintain Event records, verify eligibility, deliver prizes, prevent abuse, review rights and AI-use issues, and comply with legal obligations.
This Event may involve AI-use disclosures, tool-use disclosures, Synthetic Voice disclosures, rights and license confirmations, optional visual materials, short-form video materials, and links to external platforms.
Some Event-related information may be public, including:
- stage name;
- username or handle;
- submission title;
- submission excerpts or previews;
- optional artwork, visual materials, reels, shorts, or clips;
- AI-use categories, where publication is part of the Event format or Event Materials;
- tool-use categories, where publication is part of the Event format or Event Materials;
- Synthetic Voice or vocal-use categories, where publication is part of the Event format or Event Materials;
- rankings;
- placements;
- finalist or winner status;
- badges;
- Judge comments or Event reviews, where applicable;
- public Event records and archive pages.
Unless required for Event display or separately authorized, Vanguard does not intentionally publish:
- private contact details;
- payment information;
- raw project files;
- stems or multitracks;
- private prompts;
- private process notes not intended for publication;
- private links or passwords;
- sensitive personal information;
- tool license documents provided only for verification;
- materials provided only for verification, support, or prize delivery.
Because this Event permits and encourages AI-assisted creation, Vanguard may collect and use AI-use and tool-use information for Event administration, judging, rights review, compliance, public transparency, and Event integrity.
This may include:
- AI tools used;
- general categories of AI use;
- whether vocals are human, synthetic, AI-generated, AI-assisted, cloned, converted, or otherwise tool-assisted;
- whether artwork, video, visuals, lyrics, beats, arrangements, or other materials were AI-assisted;
- process notes, where requested;
- rights or license confirmations, where requested.
Vanguard does not require full creative prompts unless the Event Terms, Round Materials, or an integrity review expressly require them.
Vanguard does not use Participant Submissions to train AI models by default unless this is clearly disclosed and separately accepted where required.
Participants aged 14–17 may participate only with parent or legal guardian authorization and supervision.
Broader promotional use of a minor participant’s name, likeness, submission, voice, optional visual materials, or identifying information may require parent or legal guardian consent.
