Prizes
This Event may include a cash prize for the first-place eligible winner.
The prize amount depends on the number of eligible Round 1 submissions.

Maximum cash prize for this Event: CAD $500.
In addition to any cash prize, Vanguard may recognize winners, finalists, runner-ups, and standout participants through Hall of Fame listings, special status markers, public Event records, profile visibility, and other perks, prizes, partner opportunities, or sponsorship-related benefits that may be introduced over time.
What counts as an eligible Round 1 submission
An eligible Round 1 submission must:
- be submitted by an eligible participant;
- be received through the official submission method;
- be submitted within the deadline or accepted extension;
- meet the minimum format and technical requirements;
- not be rejected, withdrawn, fraudulent, infringing, disqualified, or otherwise invalid.
Prize conditions
To receive a prize, the winner must pass any required eligibility, identity, age, rights, authorship, AI-use, payment, sanctions, tax, or compliance checks.
If the first-place participant is disqualified or cannot receive the prize, the Organizer may award the prize to the next highest eligible finisher.
Prize amounts are stated in Canadian dollars.
